Damn that car is fun, but for 60K, the interior is unforgivable. The center console looks like it was designed in 2005, and it’s significantly more plasticy than my ‘13 WRX. I wanted to love the car, but I can’t.

Never really been a fan of the centre stack in recent Volvos. I like Jaguar’s though, especially with some wood trim.

So the V60?

The interior could be made of potato chips for all I care, gib me BRAAPS!

Thats part of a high end Volvo, for the money you are better getting a BMW. But the amount of 3 series vs V60s you see on the road is very different,

Correct, I messed that up.

While I agree that the Polestar interior is underwhelming for its price (offset by the fact that it’s really a $35k car, with about $25k in powertrain upgrades), it’s nowhere near as bad as the WRX.
You do have to remember that you’re looking at the hot-rod version of an entry-level luxury car, here. It’s the same reason you’d be silly to bitch that your WRX interior isn’t as nice as a 328i.

I think potato chips would be an upgrade honestly. It is fantastic to drive though, I got to take it through a nice Canyon and it was excellent. Pushing down the loud pedal instantly puts a smile on your face.

Nbd; Polestar Blue is the color that all other colors aspire to be.

See, but I think that the interior of my '16 STi kicks the Volvos ass. I expected the polestar to be at least on par with my Subie that's 20k cheaper.

Step one: Do not touch or look at the dashboard
step two: sit in the seats. omg the SEATS.
step three: press the gas pedal with enthusiasm and repeatedly.
step four: what outdated looking plastic-y dashboard?

Yeah, polestar blue is just fantastic. I love the fact that my STi is pretty close to it

mmmmmmm.... nice.

That's honestly what you'd have to do,

Looking good! I would have liked to have that color, but couldn’t wait and didn’t want to pay the premium. Instead I have a Lapis Blue Pearl STi

even if it was a nice interior, I ain’t care, gib me BRAAAPS!!!

I’ve rented a couple V40s and a V60 - I agree that the interiors are not sufficient given what they charge, and I did not like that thin center stack with space behind it. Made the car seem almost fragile - and it’s a fucking Volvo.

But the seats. Oh, the seats.

This is a 2005 S40. So...yeah, the console was in fact designed in 2005. I like the updates, personally, but you can tell it’s from an older design.

Way better than all these new cars with stupid screens that don’t even fit...

Omfg, those seats were like getting hugged by an angel in a Recaro. I fell in love a bit

I don’t mind the interior. Sure, it’s not as up-to-date as others, but going from my delightfully-easy-to-use 2016 CX-5 Grand Touring to a V60 the other day (delivered for a customer) it still felt easy to interact with and everything was within reach.
Click the downward arrow at the upper right of the title area and change the title to “V60” from “S60”.

Center console does kind of look like someone snapped in one of those old Blackberry phones.

I need that in my life yesterday.
